What is the Daily Field Reports Feature? #
Daily Field Reports are used by contractors, supervisors, and consultants to record field activities. Multiple threads of Daily Field Reports can be setup by the Project Administrator. You will only see the threads that you have been granted access to.
To access the Daily Field Report module, click Construction Mgmt in the navigation menu on the left to expand and then click the Daily Field Report/DFR button in the drop down.
The Daily Field Report log will now be displayed on screen.

Searching and Filtering the Daily Field Report Log #
On the log page, you will be capable of filtering the list of Daily Field Reports by the Company, Events & Status (Fields outlined in red).

You will also be able to sort this list by clicking on any of the fields in table headings, such as, No., Ref, Report Date, Weather, Personnel, Equipment, Events and Addenda (Fields outlined in green).
Creating a Daily Field Report #
To create a new Daily Field Report, click on the “+ Report” button at the top right-hand corner of the screen and a new report page will be opened.

On this page, you may now add the report date and work description. Click Save Draft to save the report.

Once the draft is saved, you will be able to view the next tabs to add more information to this report.

You can add/modify weather details by clicking the Weather tab. Preexisting data will be present in the form based on the project location. You can manually edit these field values. You can use this tab to assign a day as “Bad Weather Day” using the provided fields and add other notes.

Click the Personnel tab to add relevant personnel information, log visitors to the site and general notes.

Click on the “+” at the top left-hand corner of the table to log personnel details. This will open a pop-up box. When you add the necessary information marked as required, you will be able to add this entry to the log.

You can add Equipment information by clicking the “+” button and adding information in required fields.

You can add Event Tracking information by clicking the “+” button and adding information in required fields.

From Attachments, click the presented button or drag and drop file or photo attachments onto this space.

You may alternatively choose to link documents and/or photos that are already uploaded into the project on Projectmates by clicking on the provided links on the page.
Click on Copy/Link Documents and select the path to desired document in the pop-up that opens. When you have selected these documents, click on Copy Selected Documents or Link Selected Documents to finish this action.

Click on Link Photos and select the thread & photo album for desired photos in the pop-up that opens. When you have selected the album, click on Save And Close to finish this action.

To finalize the report or to route it to QA personnel, click Finalize.
Please note: A report when finalized may not be edited. Only addenda can be added once finalized.
QA #
When a report is finalized and assigned for QA review, this report will now be visible in the said person’s Ball-in-Court/My Work dashboard. They can open this report for QA review, Add Addenda and/or route it further by changing the assigned QA review or Finalize the report.

Adding Addenda #
To Add addendum, click the Addenda tab and then the “+.” In this pop-up, you can add a description and select users to email a copy of the report. Click Save to save this addendum.
